I live in Northern Idaho with my husband, Randall, a veterinarian.  We  homeschooled our two children through high school.  Abigail is a portrait artist and private art instructor.  Caleb is building his landscape business.  I  currently paint full time and teach art to a limited number of students. I have also taught art in the classroom. I studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in art education, and have taken instruction from artists such as Jean Chambers at the Scottsdale Artist's School, Phil Starke in Montana, and Barbara Newton in Seattle.
